Bubble Guppies on nickjr

So for a few weeks nickjr has been advertising a new show, Bubble Guppies... as it got closer they said premiering Monday, January 24th. So guess what? For a week my four year old was asking every day if it was Monday? lol Well is it Monday tomorrow? lol Well monday finally came! The previews made me think, oh no... not another annoying show (think Freshbeat Band!) but we watched it (of course) and he LOVES it (of course lol) and it is actually a really cute show, and as always with all the wonderful shows put out by nickjr it is really educational. So far the episodes we have watched this week have covered colors, pets, and bones! Avi breaks a bone and has to go see the doctor and it teaches the kids all about their bones/skeletons. It was really cute! Yesterday's episode taught them about caring for pets. How great is that? We all know how much kids love pets and unfortunately not all of us can have pets (or want them) but even if we try to explain it to our children it doesn't always register. It is nice to see a show with a different message; they aren't covering the same old topics as several shows out there. So this is one happy Mommy; I won't mind hearing this show playing over and over, I won't rush for the remote to change the channel when it comes on (like when Freshbeat Band or Timmy Time (Disney) come on! lol You can find games and crafts on http://nickjr.com/bubbleguppies :) Hope you get a chance to check out the show and that your children love it too!
